OK. I had this idea that we name songs, going by the letters of the alphabet. But that's boring by itself, right? So, starting with songs that begin with numbers, then going A-Z, name one song title and the line(s) you like about it/you relate to/whatever. Do not post two songs in a row; wait for someone else to post one. Once we get five songs of each letter, go to the next. OK? Is this weird? Whatever.

And I'm sorry everyday I won't always love these selfish things

"9 Things Everybody Knows" by Q and Not U.
The lyrics are really abstract, they sing about what they want, there's even a line about wetting the bed, but post-punk has never sounded so good. Too bad they broke up last week...
Congratulations, now put the knife back in the medicine cabinet.

"88" by Sum 41.
It's off the album Chuck, which is good, so go get it.
Take this aggravation that I've thrown myself into Change this situation just 'cause I need something new And still I feel like a prisoner trapped inside this broken world

"80"
An old-school Green Day song.
From 1991.
My mental stability reaches its bitter end.
I'm fond of this part: But you turn your head (and I end up talking to myself)

"7 Days A Week" by the Sounds.
Although it's a depressing message (Girl trying to prevent her friend from committing suicide by watching over her constantly) it's that kind of indie-synth-electronica song that you honestly can't listen to without getting up to dance. In fact, I'm listening to it now and I couldn't resist.
Girl, you're out of your mind you're my partner in crime

Easy.
"A Perfect Sonnet" by my beloved Bright Eyes.
A song about the jealousy of seeing everyone in relationships but yourself, then the message that it all works out in the end. Bright Eyes is sung poetry.
Once you knew a girl and you named her Lover and danced with her in kitchens through the greenest summer Autumn came, she disappeared, you can't remember where she said she was going to But you know that she's gone cause she left you a song that you don't want to sing We're singing I believe that lovers should be chained together, thrown into a fire with their songs and letters, and left there to burn in their arrogance. But as for me I'm coming to my final chapter, I've killed myself with changes trying to make things better but ended up becoming something other than what I had planned to be.

"Ashes, Ashes" by Hidden in Plain View
Lovely song. Just lovely. I love it.
I hope this terrifies you, a moral suicide which burns inside you... never, will never let you out... until you realize: knee-deep or buried alive in lies?

"A Story About a Girl" by Our Lady Peace.
Off Gravity, I love the whole album.
I know the feeling has to end You're strong, it sucks you in again And you're lost, you can't make any sense And this world, it tears you limb from limb And hold on, you're nothing but the best

"Buildings Tumble" by MxPx.
I like this song.
Do you find yourself from day to day Staring at a stranger's face? As you find yourself to your dismay Looking into your own face...

"Burn Piano Island" by The Blood Brothers.
Amazingness in three words.
I tied a nervous noose of piano wire And wrapped it around the mocking throat of the past.

"By the Way" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Actually, I like the video more than the song. But still.
Get there quick By street but not the freeway
